Program
Terms and Conditions
Each licensed individual placing a new or renewal qualified policy will receive
a cash credit to their Southern Insurance Underwriters, Inc (SIU) Write Rewards
Visa Debit Card.
A qualifying policy is defined as one placed in a non-admitted carrier and
agency billed in our Commercial Property & Casualty and Personal Property
departments. If you are unsure as to if your policy qualifies, please
check with your underwriter at the time of placement. Also see the list
of eligible carriers.
Qualified Commercial Property & Casualty placements will get a $10.00 per
policy credit applied to the licensed individual's personal Visa Debit Card.
Personal Property qualified placements will receive a $5.00 per policy credit.
No maximum number of policies applies.
Credit will be applied to the Visa Debit Card holder approximately 72 hours
after policy handling has been processed.
Southern Insurance Underwriters, Inc., (SIU) retains the right to cancel this
program at any time. Also, SIU retains the right to individually
disqualify any person or accounts from this program as we see fit. SIU
also reserves the right to change any terms and conditions of this program at
any time.
Emails will be sent to the recipient on each policy to verify the qualified
credit has been applied.
Balance inquiry is easy via the web or a convenient toll free number. You can
also use this card to add additional credit balance of your own. This card is a
debit card that is loaded with YOUR money. You can use your card to purchase
goods and services at any merchant that any merchants that accept Visa Debit
Cards. You can spend or withdraw the funds as you see fit, but you can’t spend
more than your current available card balance. SIU is required to label
non-credit products with the term "Debit.." Although your card may have the
word debit on it, you’ll avoid the PIN-based purchase fee by selecting "credit"
and signing for your transaction.
The card may be used to withdraw cash from any ATM that bears the PLUS logo.
Please note that there is a service fee for each withdrawal. This fee, along
with any other fees assessed by the ATM machine associated with your ATM
transaction, is automatically deducted from your balance. For a complete list

page.
The account may be subject to a monthly "Account Maintenance Fee" if it is
inactive. An inactive account is defined as an account that meets all three of
the following criteria: (1) Your account has been open for at least six months;
and (2) You have not added funds or received a payment; and (3) You have not
made a transaction that resulted in journal activity with the account in a 90
day period.
All transactions that you make with your card are available online. When you
want to double-check your transaction activity, simply log in to your account
on the website. If you are not able to access your statement online, please
contact Visa Customer Service at 886.326.8689 to find out if other statement
options are available for your card.
SIU is not responsible for lost or stolen Write Rewards cards. Contact
Call our Card holder Customer Service team immediately to report a lost or
stolen card, and to order a replacement card. You can use the Customer Service
number located on this page. If you report the lost or stolen card in a timely
manner, you will not be responsible for any unauthorized charges per the Terms
and Conditions.
The address(es) used for transactions associated with this card will be those
that we maintain on file. All transactions with SIU will take place on a
secure server, and all of your personal and card information is encrypted using
a Secure Socket Layer (SSL). SIU or any of it’s contracted vendors associated
with the Write Rewards program will not divulge your email address or other
personal information to any third party without your authorization.
